Ohio Scholarship Opportunities:
*Did you know the Ohio Association for Gifted Children (OAGC) provides scholarship for those students that are focused upon expand their talent and interests? You must be an OAGC member to complete a nomination, but up to 75% of the program cost is covered with a maximum amount of $500 per winner. More information can be found on www.oagc.com.
*Support for Talented Students (STS) works to support low income talented and gifted students in grades 1-12. The scholarships are tax exempt, and tax deductible to meet the needs of students wishing to partake in enrichment opportunities, programs, and activities outside of the confines of school. Scholarship: Davidson Fellows Scholarship

Brief Description:
If named a Davidson Fellow a scholarship of $10,000, $25,000, or $50,000 will be awarded to further educational pursuits. Students under 18 years of age must submit an original piece of work. The work will be reviewed by experts. Winners will be selected based upon a science, math, technology, music, literature, or philosophy contribution that makes a significantly positive mark in society.

Seventh graders who will be entering eighth grade can apply in February for this scholarship. It is considered a very individualized scholarship as it collaborates with talent centers to answer questions and assist with the application process.

This scholarship is centered on equity in college admissions for low-income high-achieving students. You must be a junior to apply. College Prep Scholarships offer summer programs, admission counseling, and college prep. conferences. Applications are available March 1st.
